Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee has issued a travel ban on all Rhode Island roads, beginning Saturday morning at 8am. With updated forecasts calling for 18-24 inches of snow and blizzard conditions throughout the upcoming storm, the governor says the ban will last until at least 8pm on Saturday. “Not only are we expecting large amounts of snow, we’re also expecting high winds, and we’re fully expecting whiteout conditions tomorrow,” McKee said in a Friday press conference.
