New Numbers In As State Battles Covid

Rhode Island has reported seven new coronavirus deaths on Thursday.

he COVID patient count in RI hospitals was three-hundred-28.

Two cases of the so-called omicron "stealth" sub-variant have been detected in Rhode Island, according to the director of the state health department.

Rhode Island's statewide positivity rate is around is about 11 percent.

The statewide vaccination rate is 97 percent of the people getting at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

Providence County has the highest positivity rate in the state.

Bristol County the lowest.
