Wind Advisory Posted For State - Thursday Night Into Friday

All of Rhode Island is under a High Wind Watch from the National Weather Service from Thursday night to Friday morning.

The weather service says southwest winds of 25-to-35 miles per hour with gusts up to 60 are possible.

Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines, and travel could be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.

In addition a Small Craft Advisory is in effect for the same time period.

Most of the wind should be out of here by 9AM Friday morning.
