Winter Still Has Hold On Us Despite Today's Temps

Winter isn't over yet in Rhode Island.

The National Weather Service has placed the Ocean State in a Winter Storm Watch for a possible heavy snow event late Thursday night through Friday evening.

The weather service prediction this morning was three-to-seven inches of snow for Bristol, Washington and Newport counties, and four-to-ten inches for Providence and Kent counties.

We could see 66 degrees today in parts of the state. But that won't last terribly long.

We are expected to see overnight lows in the 20's. Daytime highs in the 30's through the weekend.
