PC Friars Hoops: The Beast Of The East

 

 

Before more than 12 thousand people at the Dunkin Donuts Center, Providence College wins the school's first Big East Conference regular season men's basketball title.  

Yesterday in the Dunkin' Donuts Center, the Friars clinched the title with a 72-51 victory over Creighton. 

It marked the first time in conference history that they won 14 games in the conference.

A.J. Reeves had 23-points while Nate Watson and Aljami Durham both logged 12-points to put Providence into the winner's circle.

The Friars had a red hot month finishing the month with a record of 6 and 1.

Next, the Friars finish the regular season on the road at Villanova before moving on to Madison Square Garden in New York City to compete in the Big East Tournament starting Wednesday, March 9th.
