Supreme Court Reinstates Death Penalty For Boston Marathon Bomber

The Supreme Court has reimposed the death sentence for the Boston Marathon bomber. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was convicted along with his brother in detonating two pressure cooker bombs near the marathon finish line in 2013, killing three and injuring hundreds.

A federal appeals court had recently voided his conviction over alleged missteps during his trial.

The High Court rejected those defense claims in a 6-3 decision.
