Bryant Falls In First Ever Division One NCAA Tournament Appearance

The Bryant Bulldogs played their first game in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament as a division one school.

Bryant will not be advancing to the first round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

The Bulldogs were eliminated in the First Four by Wright State after falling 93-82.

Bryant was down two at the half. But Wright State, playing a dozen miles away from their campus outscored Bryant 49-40 to secure a spot in the tournament as the number 16 seed. They will play Arizona.

Senior Peter Kiss finished his college career with 28 points.

Luis Hurtado had 13 for the Bulldogs as well.

In the second half Bryant went out an a 10-2 run within the first four minutes and never really looked back after that.

Despite the loss, Bryant capped an outstanding season finishing with an overall record of 22 and 10. They were 15 and 2 in the NEC.
