Reed Warns Of "Consequences" If Russia Uses Weapons Of Mass Destruction

Rhode Island Senator Jack Reed warns that if Russia resorts to weapons of mass destruction in Ukraine quote, "there would be consequences." 

He says if Russia were to unleash chemical, biological or nuclear weapons, it would be NATO's decision, not the U.S. alone, on how to respond. 

The Senator told reporters that if there were a nuclear weapon used the radiation fell on a NATO country it could be perceived as an attack on NATO.

Reed is chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
