Rhode Island House Returns From Break With Plenty On Its Plate

It has been talked about for some time and some lawmakers say it should have happened before this.

The Rhode Island House is planning to resume a regular three day-a-week schedule.

The state Senate will reportedly continue a pandemic schedule of meeting twice weekly.

As legislators return from the spring break issues still to be resolved include the state budget and whether or not to legalize recreational marijuana.

They are also going to consider ways to help ease the financial burden on residents either through a reduction in the gas tax or by some other means.
