Voluntary Recall Of Whole Food Red Lentils Announced

There's a voluntary recall of Whole Foods Market Red Lentil Dal because an ingredient may be contaminated with Listeria, which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections.

It can primarily affect older adults, people with weakened immune systems and pregnant women.

The recalled product was sold in 12-ounce plastic trays at Whole Foods stores in Rhode Island and elsewhere.

The FDA this morning says there have been no instances of illness.
