State Closing Test Sites At End Of Month

The Rhode Island Department of Health is winding down its COVID-19 pandemic efforts.

RIDOH says it is shifting to an "endemic strategy" for vaccination and testing.

State-supported sites are closing at the end of this month.

Test results and shots are widely available at traditional healthcare partner sites or through pharmacies throughout the state.

The state says it is prepared to make the services available again if the virus becomes more severe.
