Cranston Police say a 25 year old man has been arrested after he allegedly damaged several cars while trying to flee from police.
25 year -old Yohnni Tetreault was being pursued by an undercover officer when he crashed into cars on Lakeside Avenue.
Police say that at one point, Tetreault was coming around a curve while speeding and crashed head on, into a vehicle. The two people inside that car were taken to the hospital for treatment.
After the crash the driver allegedly fled on foot, jumping into a nearby pond in order to avoid police.
But officials say police tracked down the suspect with the help of K-9 and the arrest was made.
More details are expected later today during a court arraignment.
