Red Sox Lose Game And Sale Against Yankees

The Yankees are entering the All-Star break with a series win over the Red Sox.

New York blew out Boston in its series finale 13-2 in the Bronx.

Gerrit earned the win for the Yanks after allowing a pair of runs over seven innings pitched.

Tim Locastro and Joey Gallo each went deep in the Bronx Bombers' victory.

Chris Sale pitched just two-thirds of an inning after being pulled from the game with an injury.

The team announced that Sale broke the pinky finger on his pitching hand after being hit with a line drive off the bat of Aaron Hicks.

It is unclear how long Sale will be sidelined.

Sale suffered the loss after allowing three runs, two of them earned.

New York is leading the majors with a record of 64-and-28.
