The original winner of the reality show Survivor may lose his properties in Newport.
The Providence Journal reports Richard Hatch is on the hook for nearly three-million dollars in back taxes, including a million dollars from the contest he won in 2000.
The newspaper reports Hatch allegedly transferred the two Newport homes to his sister in a fraudulent manner to thwart the government and his other creditors.
The 61-year-old Hatch spent almost four years in prison on tax evasion in the late-2000s.
