EMT's Return To Service After Call Investigation

Two emergency medical technicians from Woonsocket have had their licenses restored after the state suspended them for failing to provide proper care to a premature newborn baby.

When fire department employees Jarrod Martin and Shawn Hoyle responded to a home on August 1st, they thought the baby was dead, but doctors at Landmark Medical Center later-determined there was a pulse.

A revival attempt was unsuccessful.

Reports indicate Hoyle has been fully reinstated, while Martin is able to return on the condition of serving a period of probation.
