A juvenile is being tried as an adult in a Rhode Island murder case.
A 17 year old was arraigned on a second-degree murder charge in Providence District Court on Friday.
The teen is accused of causing the death of 54-year-old Richard Raymond of Warren in September 2021.
Warren police say Raymond suffered severe head injuries after being struck by an aluminum bat at the intersection of Market and Sanders streets.
Police have not said what caused the alleged attack.
