Providence College men's basketball notched a big win in the Big East Conference Wednesday night. The Friars beat Creighton University in double overtime, 94-to-86 at Amica Mutual Pavilion.
"That was one of the best college basketball games this season," Head Coach Ed Cooley said.
Coach Cooley says Creighton is one of the toughest places to play.
Devin Carter finished with 25 points. Noah Locke had 20.
PC is one game back of first place in the Big East with five regular-season games remaining before the conference tournament.
Marquette leads the conference with a record of 12 and 3.
Xavier is 11 and 3. Then comes Providence at 11 and 4.
Providence hosts Villanova next on Saturday.
