51 Honored With State Young Leaders Awards

The Rhode Island State Treasurer has honored 51 young people from across the state for their high achievements in the classroom, community service and entrepreneurial spirit.

James Diossa presented the contingent with 2023 Young Leader Awards on the floor of the Rhode Island House of Representatives.

“It is crucial that our state have young leaders, like the recipients, in our schools and communities,” according to Diossa. “The example these recipients set for their peers makes all Rhode Island students better prepared for the realities of life beyond high school.”

We congratulate the winners and their high schools.
