Rhode Island Energy reported that are approximately 200 customers without power.
The outages are largely in the Tiverton and Charlestown areas, with scattered outages in Cranston and Woonsocket.
Governor Dan McKee said the utility had placed 160 additional line crews and more than a hundred crews to specifically handle trees across the state to deal with potential outages.
