The unadjusted unemployment rate for June in the Providence-Warwick metropolitan area is four-point-three percent.
That's unchanged from the previous month.
However, it's up from two-point-eight percent in June of 2023, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Governor Dan McKee says that the state has exceeded its total workforce before the pandemic hit.
