Rhode Island Considering Bill To Better Protect Crypto Kiosk Users

State lawmakers are considering a bill that would put tighter restrictions on cryptocurrency kiosks in Rhode Island.

The kiosks function like ATMs, allowing users to convert crypto into cash.

The push from lawmakers comes as reports of users being scammed at the kiosks have increased.

The bill would limit transactions to a thousand dollars per customer, per day, cap transaction fees, and more.
