Rhode Island's Peter Neronha has joined a coalition of fellow attorneys general in filing a lawsuit against Elon Musk's "unconstitutional power grab."
The AGs say the authority the tech billionaire has been granted under the Department of Government Efficiency is unconstitutional.
Neronha says never before has there been an unelected, unconfirmed person wielding that much unfettered power in the United States and it's cause for great concern.
The lawsuit seeks a court ruling declaring Musk's actions unconstitutional and an injunction barring him from issuing orders to any person in the Executive Branch outside of DOGE, as well as invalidating his previous actions.
