Basketball Fans Flock To NCAA Open Practice Ahead Of Tournament Play

Fans flocked to Amica Mutual Pavilion Wednesday to watch the men's basketball teams get in some practice before the NCAA Tournament begins.

The free, open practice gave fans a chance to check out the teams that will be taking part in tournament play.

Today's games are sold out and anyone looking for tickets is urged to use caution and watch out for scammers.

The experts say only buy tickets from trusted vendors because they offer guarantees against bogus listings and avoid suspicious emails or texts that are offering tickets.

The Tournament is also a home coming of sorts for Rick Pitino who once coached Providence College.

St John's plays the last game of the night at 9:45 against the number 15 seed Omaha.

St John's is the number 2 seed.
