A Cranston mortgage broker is scheduled to be sentenced today after his October guilty plea for wire fraud and filing a false tax return.
At the time of the trial, prosecutors said they were prepared to prove that Joseph Giuttari stole at least 4-point-2-million-dollars from investors.
According to federal sentencing guidelines, Giuttari is facing a minimum of four-years and three months in prison.
Court documents indicate that the Rhode Island U.S. District Attorney's Office has recommended the minimum sentence.
