The trial of the former North Kingstown basketball coach is scheduled to begin today in Wakefield.
Aaron Thomas has pleaded not guilty to second-degree sexual assault and second-degree child molestation charges stemming from the "fat tests" performed on student athletes for several years.
In 2021, several former students claimed the coach of calling them into his office to "check" their bodies and some of the boys were allegedly naked during the "fat tests."
Thomas was arrested and charged in 2022.
