Home Sales Declined In RI Last Month

The number of homes on the market in Rhode Island is up, but sales are down.

The state Association of Realtors said there was a 30-percent increase in the number of houses for sale last month compared to March, 2024.

However, there was a four-percent drop in sales compared to the same time a year ago.

The median price for a single-family home was 480-thousand-dollars, that's a nine-percent increase compared to March of last year.
