Cranston Neighborhood To Receive Federal Funds For Flood Protection

Cranston has been awarded federal funding to make improvements in one of the city's flood-prone neighborhoods.

Congressman Seth Magaziner joined city leaders to announce just over one-million-dollars for flood prevention improvements in the Garden Street area.

The money will be used for improving stormwater infrastructure in the Garden Street watershed which includes Laurens Street, Grace Street and other low-lying areas.
