Energy Secretary Rick Perry’s quiet existence at the White House is becoming a little louder.
Perry is denying reports that he will step down from his position. Speaking at a press conference in Lithuania yesterday, Perry said "They've been writing the story" for months now, but he's here to serve. As we mentioned, Politico reported last week that the former Texas governor was expected to announce his resignation by the end of November.
Perry has found himself mixed up in the Ukraine controversy that triggered the House impeachment proceedings against President Trump. Perry admitted to asking Trump to call Ukraine because he thought it was in the best interest of the U.S. and Ukraine to be energy partners.
