It's getting closer to the Democrats having to hold their third presidential debate in September over two nights just as they did the first two, after entrepreneur Andrew Yang on Thursday (August 8th) became the ninth candidate to qualify for the third debate.

Under the rules, the candidates need to have at least two percent support in at least four polls, and he got that in a Monmouth poll out yesterday. He'd previously hit the donor requirement of 130,000 unique donors from 20 different states. Yang has campaigned on a "Freedom Dividend," which would give every American adult $1,000 per month to help deal with the automation of jobs.

The other eight qualified candidates are former Vice President Joe Biden, Senators Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Cory Booker, Kamala Harris and Amy Klobucher, South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg and former Rep. Beto O'Rourke.
