(Tiverton, RI) -- The old Sakonnet River Bridge will soon come down. The demolition slated to begin this month will be done in two phases with the first removing everything above the water line at a cost of more than nine-million dollars. That should take a year before phase two starts which entails removing everything below the waterline.
