(Providence, RI) -- Providence Police are investigating a shooting that has left the victim in critical condition. The shooting happened around 3:15 yesterday morning at 66 Pembroke Avenue when 20-year-old Joshua Mendez was shot in the second floor of the apartment. Police are looking for a short, light-skinned man wearing a white t-shirt. Mendez is being treated at Rhode Island Hospital.
