(Providence, RI) -- There are several gun control proposals at the State House. A bill will be unveiled tomorrow that would ban assault weapons in Rhode Island. A so-called red-flag bill will be introduced to prevent people from having a gun if they are considered a danger to themselves or others. There's also a bill to ban bump stocks and other devices that convert semi-automatic weapons into machine guns.
