(North Providence, RI) -- Ground is being broken on a new elementary school in North Providence. Governor Gina Raimondo and other state and local officials were on hand on Monday for the ceremony at the new Stephen Olney Elementary School on Douglas Avenue. Voters approved a bond to rebuild the Olney school and another one in North Providence, James McGuire Elementary School, back in 2016.
