WHEN WILL THEY JUST SHUT UP?

MTV VMA Ratings Hit All-Time Low

It looks like not that many people tuned in to the MTV Video Music Awards Monday night. Ratings show the annual award fest drew its smallest audience for the second year in a row.

Overall, 4.87 million viewers tuned into in to the Radio City Music Hall event, 2.25 million of which were in the all important 18 to 49-year-old demographic. Those numbers are way lower that last year, which saw 5.36 million tune in overall, and 2.6 million adults 18 to 49.

What’s worse is this year’s show didn’t have nearly the competition that 2017’s did. Last year’s telecast aired opposite the “Game of Thrones” finale, while this year’s only real competitors were “WWE Monday Night Raw” on USA and an NFL preseason game on ESPN.
