Late-August Heat Affair Continuing

(Providence, RI)  --  Record-high temperatures are once again possible in Rhode Island on Wednesday.  The National Weather Service says the hottest high temperature recorded in Providence on the date of August 29th is 95 degrees, set in 1945 and 1953.  The weather service says yesterday's high temp tied a record high of 95, set back in 1948.  A cool-down is expected for the end of the week.
