(Providence, RI) -- The Providence school bus strike that started last week is expected to enter its third day on Monday. Providence Public Schools made that announcement on Sunday night and urged families of school bus riders, including those with special transportation needs, to continue making arrangements for alternate travel. The local Teamsters union representing the bus drivers and bus company First Student are in a contract dispute over retirement benefits.
