(Woonsocket, RI) -- The opening of a new DMV office in Woonsocket is being delayed. The Valley Breeze reports an apparent dispute between parties involved in renovating the site on Diamond Hill Road has caused the problem. A spokesperson for the Rhode Island Department of Revenue, which oversees the DMV, tells the publication no opening date is currently set, and the department doesn't know when renovations will be complete. An opening date of August 6th had been set originally.
