Tuesday’s Midterm Election Broke A Ratings Record - There’s no doubt everyone’s eyes were on the election Tuesday.

The ratings for television's coverage of the midterm election are in and they show Tuesday was the most watched midterm election results in TV history. More than 32 million Americans watched the results being called on Tuesday. Fox News won the night with seven-point-eight million average viewers during primetime.

NBC was second with five-point-seven million. They were followed by ABC at five-point-two million and CNN at five million. MSNBC had four-point-seven million viewers and CBS came in last at three-point-nine million.
