(Fall River, MA)--According to multiple media outlets, Fall River, Massachusetts Mayor Jasiel Correia is planning to take a leave of absence from office.A spokesman says that and also that he plans to suspend his re-election campaign.A press release issued Monday indicated Correia is scheduled to make an announcement on Tuesday.Correia has been the subject of a federal investigation from two separate grand jury indictments but has thus far remained in office.
