Mayors Release Joint Statement About NYC Moving Homeless

(Undated)--Several Rhode Island mayors are objecting to a program that helped homeless New York City families relocate here.A New York Post story about NYC exporting the homeless to elsewhere in the U.S. mentions several families moved to Providence, Pawtucket and Woonsocket.The mayors of the three cities called the program an outrageous example of bad public policy and that they want state human services officials to jump in.
