Storm Forces Virtual Learning For Schools- Overtime For Plow Drivers

Rhode Island getting close to ten inches of snow in some parts of the state from that fast moving storm. In Exeter- officials say through 9:30 this morning they received just short of two and a half inches. However, in North Smithfield - they received about 10 inches while Burrillville got about the same. The snow will begin to taper off this afternoon. It will remain cold.

The storm did force some change in the outdoor state Covid Testing sites. The revised hours will be from noon to 8 p.m. at the Cumberland and Pawtucket Stop and Shops, Community College of Rhode Island in Warwick, McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, and the state-run test site in Woonsocket. Morning-time appointments will be honored later today.

Parking bans remain in effect until further notice across the state.

Officials at TF Green International report that the airport remains open but there are a number of delays.
