Restoration Of Salt Marsh Almost Complete

(Charlestown, RI)  --  The restoration of a salt marsh habitat along the Charlestown Breachway is almost finished.  The three million dollar project to ease navigation used sediment from the breachway to raise the elevation of Ninigret Marsh.  The company working on the project has been using two dredges 24 hours a day, six days a week since November.
