(Providence, RI) -- Wind gusts to 50 miles-per-hour are expected to continue through most of today. The National Weather Service says Rhode Island will experience the effects of a nor'easter, including heavy amounts of rain into the early afternoon. The rain may cause some small streams to overflow so motorists heading out this morning should be alert. Sunshine will return tomorrow.
