Report Says Rhode Island Fails To Reduce Tobacco Use

(Undated)  --  A new report says Rhode Island is failing in implementing effective polices to save lives from tobacco use.  The American Lung Association's' State of Tobacco Control Report shows Rhode Island gets an "A" for having smoke-free workplace laws, but an "F" for not increasing the age to purchase tobacco to 21-years-old.  The state also gets an "F" in providing funding for prevention and cessation programs.  That's the same overall grade the report gives Rhode Island.
