(Central Falls, RI) -- Three police officers are being credited with saving the lives of seven Central Falls residents from a house fire. The officers were on patrol on Earle Street around 1:30 Saturday morning when they spotted the blaze at 137 Earle Street. The officers found a couple and young son on the first floor and another four people on the second floor evacuating them. Police say they were unaware there was a fire when they were awakened by the fire. Surveillance video from a nearby home shows somebody deliberately set the blaze.
