NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell met the press in Houston, site of this weekend's Super Bowl 51, and sitting in the front row was Patriots owner Bob Kraft and the Kraft family. Talk about body English. Goodell's decision to suspend Brady for the first four games of the regular season, fine Kraft a million bucks and strip the team of its first round draft pick still a fresh wound. As you can imagine, just about every reporter wanted to ask a DEFLATE GATE question and Goodell was ready with his legal points as a deflection tool. He said he wouldn't be uncomfortable handing the Lombardi trophy to Tom Brady should the Pats beat Atlanta. He also said he'd be happy to return to Foxboro for a game but hasn't been invited. I kept watching to see if his nose was growing or whether I could spot Mister Gippetto in the crowd. Kraft likely had visions of that Lombardi trophy becoming  the world's biggest suppository when the final whistle blows. Goodell quickly shifted the topic of conversation to a Patriots-Oakland match up next season in Mexico. If I was starting a dodgeball team, I'd chose Goodell as my captain over Patches O'Houlihan.
