(Warwick, RI) -- A Warwick family is experiencing the effect of thundersnow in their home. Brad Smith says a bolt of lightning splintered a tree in his yard and blew a hole in his house. He tells Eyewitness News he was watching the snow fall when there was a boom and a bright flash and he saw what looked like toothpicks going across the yard. Smith found a smoldering hole in the house and called the fire department.
