Anyone with kids has probably imagined the day they would take their kids on their first trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, and while they may imagine the smiles of their kids’ first meeting with Mickey Mouse, moms and dands may not realize they won’t be smiling when the see the price tag just to get into the park, and now its gonna cost even more.
In case you missed it, the Orlando theme park has once again raised their prices. “Value” tickets for the Magic Kingdom have gone up $2 to $107 for adults and $101 for children, while “regular” tickets have increased by $5, to $115 for adults and $109 for children. These two types of tickets are still cheaper than a “peak” ticket, which costs $124 for adults and $118 for children, with the discounted prices offered to try and control overcrowding during their busiest times of the year.
Another Disney change is now all tickets will include an expiration date, and those with expired tickets will be able to turn them in for a credit for future tickets. Prior to the new rule, only one-day passes and Florida resident passes had expiration dates.
And if those changes don’t increase your Disney expenses, try parking at the facility. Those prices have gone up as well, from $35 to $40 a day
