(Providence, RI) -- The I-195 Redevelopment District Commission is being pitched a plan to create a New England Medical Innovation Center on the former highway land. Peter J. Snyder senior vice-president of LifeSpan health system and Ximedica co-founder Aidan Petrie told the commission last night that the center would work with companies and partner with local universities to develop concepts that might create solutions and new companies. Commission Chairman Joseph F. Azrack say it's a "great concept" that's "very early" in the development stage.
