(East Providence, RI) -- East Providence Police are investigating a crash that sent the driver to the hospital. The accident happened around 8:45 last night on North Brow Street when a car struck a utility pole. The crash brought down wires atop a tractor trailer. The driver of the car was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
